Cristen Sassi, OTR/L

Cristen is a pediatric occupational therapist with a specialty in sensory integration and has received her level 1 DIR/Floortime certificate.   She has practiced in pediatrics in a variety of settings including: early intervention, inclusive preschool and kindergarten programs, consultations to school systems and HBTS/PASS programs, supervisory roles and outpatient clinic settings.

She has received her masters from Springfield College and has been working with children and families since. She is SIPT certified, Interactive Metronome Provider, and TEACCH level 1 certified. She has worked with a variety of diagnoses and challenges including but not limited to: individuals with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and global developmental delays.

She is passionate about working with children and their families to create and strengthen connections between them and allow children and families to be active participants in their communities.  When a child gets that gleam in the eye upon connecting an idea, thought, or connection with a parent, that is the beauty within the child, that is when the magic begins!
