  • We do not take insurance. Due to the variety of insurance offered nationwide, and the limitations it can have on treatment, The Therapy Collaborative is private pay. If you would like to try to have your payments reimbursed by your insurance provider, we would be happy to provide you with a Super Bill that you can submit.

  • No, these sessions are within the scope of therapy practice, however insurance does not recognize them as reimbursable.

  • We offer both! The pricing is the same, so please select whatever format works best for your family. Our virtual platform is HIPAA compliant and can be easily accessed on a computer or smart phone.

    As we are growing our practice, we will expand our in-person services throughout the country. However, right now, in-person sessions will only be offered in Bloomington, IL.

  • Illinois: As of January 1st, 2024, you NO longer need a referral for OT services.

  • We have carefully selected assessments that can be done both in-person and virtually. The two major assessments we are offering right now are the Developmental Profile and the Sensory Profile. Both can only be administered by clinicians with certain qualifications. These assessments will take time to score and analyze but are hugely beneficial in ensuring your child has a comprehensive evaluation. All assessment results will be provided in your evaluation written report.

  • A developmental consultation is a space where you can ask our clinicians anything that is one your mind about your child’s development and we will provide our recommendations! We will cover anything from tummy time to high school sports performance. We use our expertise we gained from our schooling and clinical experience to help you and answer your questions.

    An evaluation is where we will analyze your child’s functioning, use standardized assessments, and collaborate with you to develop goals and a treatment plan for your child. It is a formal process and follow-up treatment is usually recommended.
