  • We are in-network for Blue Cross Blue Shield’s Blue Choice Preferred PPO in Illinois.

    You can also elect to pay privately via cash or credit card. For private pay, we will send you our rates prior to your first session. We are happy to supply you with a SuperBill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

  • We offer both!

    In-person sessions are in Bloomington, IL and surrounding areas. We are happy to travel to you if you live outside of Bloomington. A travel charge will be applied for mileage, which will be included in your cost estimate that you will receive prior to your first session.

    Our virtual platform is HIPAA compliant and can be easily accessed on a computer or smart phone.

    Blue Cross Blue Shield will cover both in-person and virtual services, so please select what works best for your family!

  • OT: You do NOT need a doctor’s referral for OT services. This is a recent change that has greatly improved access to therapy services.

    Speech: Yes, you will need a referral from your provider. We are happy to help you with this process if needed.

  • Illinois. We will soon be expanding to Iowa, Wisconsin, New York, and California!

  • Yes — many families begin private therapy while waiting for state-funded services or as a supplement to them. We offer early support that focuses on sensory, motor, and daily living skills.

  • Yes. Many families in our area face long waitlists or limited availability when trying to access state-funded Early Intervention services. At The Therapy Collaborative, we offer immediate openings for occupational therapy and speech-language pathology—often within just 1–2 weeks of reaching out.
