Clinical Programs at The Therapy Collaborative
In addition to traditional occupational and speech therapy, we offer structured programs for children, teens, and young adults who need more specialized support. Our core clinical programs include:
Complex Feeding & Swallowing Program
For infants, children, and young adults with feeding and swallowing concerns, including pediatric dysphagia, extreme picky eating, limited variety, mealtime anxiety, or difficulty progressing with textures. Care may include oral-motor work, sensory-based feeding strategies, caregiver coaching, and collaboration with medical providers when needed.
Functional Neurological & Chronic Pain Program
For individuals with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), pediatric or teen chronic pain, fatigue, or related symptoms that interfere with school, sports, work, or daily life. Treatment focuses on movement retraining, sensory integration, functional strengthening, graded activity, and education, often in coordination with neurology and mental health providers.
Pediatric Brain Injury & Neurologic Recovery Program
For children and young adults with a history of brain injury or other neurologic conditions who have ongoing challenges with movement, participation, communication, or daily living skills. Therapy emphasizes function, safety, school and community participation, and practical strategies for families.
Early Development & NICU Follow-Up Program
For infants and toddlers who are NICU graduates, considered high-risk, or whose families have concerns about early motor, sensory, or communication skills. We provide timely, research-informed early support and can work alongside or while families are waiting for state-funded Early Intervention services.

Our occupational therapist (OT) and speech-language pathologist (SLP) are experts in supporting early developmental milestones for infants and toddlers.
While state-funded Early Intervention (EI) programs can be a great starting point, many families turn to us for more consistent, individualized care—especially when faced with long waitlists or limited availability.
We offer timely openings and use research-informed, play-based therapy to help infants and toddlers build the skills they need during this critical stage of development.

Our FND program serves children, teens, and young adults experiencing functional neurological symptoms such as changes in gait or movement, weakness, tremors, or sensory changes.
Care may include movement retraining, sensory integration, functional strengthening, education about FND, and support for school, sports, and daily life. We frequently collaborate with neurology and mental health providers, and can help families understand how therapy fits into a recovery-focused FND plan.
Please reach out if you’d like to discuss whether our FND program is a good fit.
