Movement Analysis & Return-to-Activity Testing · Bloomington-Normal, IL

Objective movement analysis and return-to-sport testing for athletes, active individuals, and complex cases.

TTC uses objective clinical movement assessment technology — the same tools used in professional sports and elite rehabilitation programs — to measure how the body moves, performs, and recovers.

Our technology

Professional-grade movement assessment technology

TTC uses objective clinical measurement tools used in professional sports organizations and elite rehabilitation programs — bringing that same level of assessment to athletes, families, and complex patients in Bloomington-Normal.

Force plate assessment icon

Force plate assessment

Objective measurement of ground reaction forces — capturing how the body produces, absorbs, and transfers force. Used in professional and Olympic sport programs to assess readiness, asymmetry, and performance.

3D movement analysis icon

3D movement analysis

Full-body movement capture and analysis — assessing mechanics, coordination, alignment, and movement quality in real time. Used across professional sport, orthopedic rehab, and neurologic rehabilitation programs.

Objective data and reporting icon

Objective data and reporting

Every assessment produces objective data — limb symmetry indices, force curves, movement scores, and benchmark comparisons. Findings are summarized and can be shared with coaches, physicians, or referring providers.

The process

What to expect

01

Intake

We begin by reviewing your injury history, surgical timeline, current activity level, goals, and any prior testing or clearance requirements. No physician referral required.

02

Assessment

A dedicated movement assessment session using objective clinical technology — typically 60 to 90 minutes depending on the scope of testing and clinical needs.

03

Results

Your therapist reviews findings with you in session — explaining what the data shows, what it means for your goals, and what next steps are recommended.

04

Report

A written findings summary is provided — shareable with your coach, physician, athletic trainer, or referring provider for coordinated return-to-sport or treatment planning.

Self-referral welcome — no physician referral required

Movement assessment at TTC is open to self-referral. Athletes, families, and patients can schedule directly without a physician order. If a referral is needed for insurance or clearance purposes, we can help coordinate that as part of the process.

How is this different from a standard therapy evaluation?

A movement assessment uses objective measurement technology to capture force, balance, symmetry, and movement quality data — going beyond clinical observation to provide measurable benchmarks and data-driven findings.
